Ronald Warner Hause, age 50, of Kentwood, passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 2, 2013. The son of Ronald & Darlene (Bates) Hause, he was born on April 6, 1963 in Grand Rapids, grew up in in the Alpine Avenue area, and attended Kenowa Hills High School.

He worked in the dietary field before going to work for Steelcase. Ron also spent the last few years helping to care for his mother in the Wyoming area, before moving to Kentwood with his sister, Wanda. An avid sports fanatic, he loved the Detroit Red Wings, NASCAR racing (Jeff Gordon), and the Denver Broncos. For several years Ron played hockey himself. He was proudest of his three children, and loved his family and friends very much. His fulfillment in life came from helping others, yet never wanting to impose on anyone. He was always grateful for what he had. He will be greatly missed by everyone his life touched.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald D. Hause; a sister, Cheryl Hause; and his mother, Darlene Lovett, joined him in eternal life on Saturday, December 7, 2013. Surviving are his children, Colton and Renae of Belding, and Austin of Lowell; three sisters, Wanda (Dennis Bellows) Knight of Kentwood, Brenda & Jeff Jacobsen of Grand Rapids, and Amanda Black of Seattle, WA; two brothers, Randy & Amity Biezska of Wyoming, and Jeffery & Shannon Biezska of Hudsonville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; and his best friend, Doug Payne.

Visitation is from 3-4 p.m. on Monday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2670 56th Street S.W., Wyoming, where funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Bishop Joseph Openshaw will officiate and burial will take place privately at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Brenda Jacobsen to help with the funeral expenses.
