Ronald Joseph Powelson, age 56, of Edmore, passed away Sunday morning, May 5, 2019 under the loving care of his family and Heartland Hospice at his sister's home in Stanton.

The son of Bernice Irene (Keck) & George Alfred Powelson, Jr., he was born on April 18, 1963 in Alma, had worked as a security guard at the Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant, and enjoyed watching old Western movies.

He was preceded in death by his parents;  and his faithful canine companion, Lucky.  Surviving are two sisters, Darlynn & Joel Allen of Stanton, and Charlotte & Jimmie Vaughn of Edmore;  a brother, Tim & Roxanne Powelson of Sumner;  and several nieces and nephews.
