Robin Renee Borton, age 61, of Greenville, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 at her home under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. 

The daughter of Orville & Geraldine (Pant) Fox, she was born on September 29, 1956.  Robin had worked as a teacher's assistant with EightCap's Foster Grandparent program and on October 21, 2014, in Stanton, she married Anthony L. Borton. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.  Surviving are her husband, Anthony Borton of Greenville;  her children, Jason Puite of Fremont, Edward Puite of Pekin, Indiana, Eric Puite of White Cloud, Sandra Puite of White Cloud, Tanya Brown of Sparta, and Anthony & Eva Puite of Kent City;  thirteen grandchildren;  two sisters and a brother, Vicky, Marcy, and Mike;  her parents-in-law, Gary & Connie Borton of Gowen and Barbara & Tom VanGordon of Durand;   sisters-in-law, Lori & Mike Wilberding, Brenda & Duke Hansen, Anne Borton, Cathleen & Ibar Arrington, Susan & Chad Miller, Mary VanGordon, and Barbie & Troy Jackson; and a brother-in-law, Robert VanGordon.

Visitation with the family is from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville.  Honoring Robin's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held.  Instead of flowers, relatives and friends are asked to consider the needs of the family.  Envelopes for memorial contributions will be available at the funeral home.
