Robert Lee Jakubowski, 70, of Comstock Park, MI passed away on October 19th 2013. Bob is preceded in death by his daughter Karen Laway. He is survived by his wife Donna, two daughters Kathy Jakubowski and Karla Moskowitz and son Keith Jakubowski. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law John and Jan Jakubowski, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. A lifelong resident of Comstock Park, Bob enjoyed plowing snow in the winter and family picnics in the spring. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial for family will be announced later.
Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.

When I close my eyes and picture my grandpa, I can remember countless times when I walked in his front door and he had a smile on his face and said, “Well hi Rick!” I can clearly remember the sound of his voice. The last time I said goodbye to him, he said goodbye back. It was barely audible but his lips moved and I could just make it out. I’m really sad, but as long as I keep those memories I can still feel him in my heart.
