Over the years he worked at R.J. Tower Automotive and more recently was a maintenance supervisor with DeWitt Barrel. A master tinkerer, Bob could fix just about anything and also enjoyed fishing, cooking and canning, and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Orrie Haight and Ken Haight; and a sister, Cheryl Harger.

Surviving are his children, Chad Haight & Kristin Waber, Brent Haight & Natalie Thompson, all of Greenville, Terra Haight & Brandon Esquivel of Grand Rapids, and Amanda & Dan VanDusen of South West Harbor, Maine; six grandchildren, Hunter Haight, Michael Haight, Logan Haight, Kaiden Esquivel, Samuel VanDusen, and Nadia VanDusen; a brother, Harold Haight & Sheila Smith of Greenville; two former wives, Mary Haight of Greenville and Teresa Zumwalt of Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Christiansen Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m.

Pastor Ken Harger will officiate and burial, with full military honors, will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Fort Custer National Cemetery near Battle Creek.

Instead of flowers, relatives and friends are asked to consider the needs of the family. Envelopes for memorial contributions to help with Bobs final expenses will be available at the funeral home.
