Surrounded by family, Robert “Bob” LeClear passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018. The son of Richard and Lucille (Cruse) LeClear, he was born on October 13, 1939 in Battle Creek. Bob was a graduate of Pennfield High School class of 1959. He worked as a union carpenter for 28 years and was also employed by Michigan Carton and United Steel and Wire. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was also a master storyteller and most of all, Bob loved spending time with family and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and brother. He will be dearly missed by his wife of eight years, Sharon Sprecher; his children, Sheril & Mark Brauer, and Duayne & Lisa LeClear; step-children, Jennifer & Ben Flanders, Christina Bender, and Veronica & Scott Miller; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Bill & Nancy LeClear; sisters, Beverly & William McAdam, and Patricia & Melvin Miller. 

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Convis Township Hall, 19500 15 Mile Rd., Marshall, followed by a time of food and fellowship. If you wish to contribute please bring a dish to pass.
