Richard William Funk Sr., age 72, of Kalamazoo, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Battle Creek Veterans Hospital.

The son of Fred & Mary (Eager) Funk, he was born on October 29, 1945 in Battle Creek.

Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War era.
