I am so sorry to hear of Philips passing. I first met Philip when he would come to Orlando from Hobe Sound with his family
every weekend in 1980-1 to established a church here. We had long discussions and I really enjoyed attending the church he started here.

My deepest sympathy goes out to all of Phil’s family. I attended Greenville Church of the Nazarene with Phil for a short time. He really enjoyed when he was teaching a Sunday School class — sharing his life testimony with others. You will all be in my prayers.

    A Daughter

    God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
    and whispered, “come to me.”

You didn’t deserve what you went through,
    So He gave you rest.
    God’s garden must be beautiful,
    He only takes the best

And when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
    To suffer that again.
