Raymond “Ray” Murl Pollock II, 54, of Greenville passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit after a brief illness.  

The son of Lynne Irene (Sisson) and Raymond Murl Pollock, he was born on November 4, 1965 in Greenville.  Ray attended Greenville Public Schools and had worked for Merritt Auctions & Tent Rental.  

He was preceded in death by his sister, Roxanne Vanhoy.  Surviving are his daughters, Rachel & Jesse Partridge of Greenville, and Samantha Pollock of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina;  his parents, Raymond & Lynne Pollock of Greenville;  a step-son, Trey Chapin of Sidney;  grandchildren, Cayden Partridge and Makinlee Partridge of Greenville ;  a brother, Wesley & Sandy Pollock of Apache Junction, Arizona; a brother-in-law, Earl & Lena Vanhoy of Indiana; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

    I worked with little Ray’s dad-á Big Ray and watched him grow up and become a man and we were close not as close as we could of been because I moved away. He was a good man I liked his smile and talking to him when I saw him. I was always very happy to see Ray when ever I come home. I am sorry for the family’s loss. I loved him just as family and I love his family, Ray your a friend and family I send my love Ray to you and family. I will miss you Ray and when I come home it will be different not seeing you, R.I.P my brother love ya-á
