The family would like to extend a special thanks to Gene & Katie Huffman for the caring overnight visits and Tamela Schroeder, Larry Johnson for the travels to check on him along with many friends making frequent visits during his battle for life.

Ralph moved from Urbana Ohio to Wyoming Michigan in 1964 to raise his family where he worked as a supervisor at McInerne Spring and wire, Gordon manufacturing and retiring from Jedco Aerospace in 2006. Ralph enjoyed spending time with family and friends, talking sports, politics, and cars. Generally playing devil’s advocate to spark a debate, referring to his conversations as “telling lies”. He had many nick names, quotes and phrases that would make you chuckle even if some were offensive.

Per Ralph’s wishes cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life luncheon will be held at the Moose Lodge, 2630 Burlingame Ave SW, Wyoming, MI 49509, on Saturday, September 21, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

I’m so sad about this news. Ralph was at one time like a step father to me. He always made me laugh with his funny analogies from down south. He was a kind man to my children and shared many memories with our family. We truly will miss you. I promise I will take great care of Tyson and I hope you’re free of pain and seeing Tia once again. RIP we love you.

To the sons of Uncle Ralph, I’m truly sorry for your grief. As a young child coming out for summer visit with Aunt Diane and Uncle Ralph was a lifesaver and will never forget my time spent with Chip, Dougie, Dennis and of course Aunt Diane and Uncle Ralph. Uncle Ralph’s witty humor, loud, strong words. He will be missed and thought of often, love you all

We loved Ralph…He always had stories to tell, with a laugh to go with them. He loved his boys, talked about them often. He was also interested to hear what others had to say. We will miss him. Jim and Nancy Wilson
