Polly Lucille “Lucy” (Hatt) Klawieter, age 70, of Morley, passed away Thursday evening, March 15, 2018 at Spectrum Health United Hospital.  The daughter of Abel Leslie & Polly May (Snyder) Hatt, she was born on October 15, 1947 in Cadillac.  On New Years Day 1997, she married Rockwell Klawieter. 

Lucy enjoyed gardening and sewing, but her greatest joy was her family and time spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rockwell Klawieter; granddaughter, Coraline Rickard; son in law, Richard Bill; and daughter in law, Belinda Kenyon.  

Surviving are her seven children, Julia Kenyon, Polly Snyder, Perry Kenyon, Delbert & Debbie Rickard, Raquel Rickard, Carl & Sherry Rickard, and Rocky & Elizabeth Rickard; twenty-four grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

    She will be missed. I remember spending a lot of time at her house she was my other mom. She had a great laugh. Lucy and the gamely came into my life when I was about 8 I’m 46 now I have a lot of memories and I will cherish them for ever. I know she’s up there with Rocky and my mom watching all of us right now.-á

    She was full of piss and vinegar but she was a huge part of our lives good and bad. I loved her and will miss her more than y’all know!-á-á
