She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Earl, George, Rex, and Kenneth; and two sisters, Dorothy and Peg.

Surviving is her husband of nearly 58 years, Robert; their children, Gregory & Lorie Brace of Haslett, Christopher & Penny Brace of Sunfield, Melanie Brace & Gary Lenza of Port Orchard, WA, Penny & Allen Walter of Grand Ledge, Brenda Brace of Horton, and Monte Brace of Stanton; their grandchildren, Jay & Veronica, Raquel, Alicia, Andrew & Ellie, Shelby & Shelbi, Sarah, Emma, Mara, Robert & Stephanie, Travis & Michelle, Don & Mandy, Katie, Monica & Anthony, and Jeff; and great-grandchildren, Quinn, Elijah, Alyce, Aurora, Emma, Skylar, Landon, Brooklyn, Bailey, Kaedyn, Lily, Logan, and Lexi; and many nieces, nephews, and other special family and friends.

A gathering of remembrance will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 2-5 p.m. at The First Presbyterian Church of Dimondale (162 Bridge St, Dimondale, Michigan).  Instead of flowers, Phyllis would have appreciated contributions in her memory to the American Lung Association, Heartland Hospice, or the Presbyterian Church of Dimondale.
