Phillip James Dykman, age 58, of Fremont, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012 at his home under the loving care of his family and Heartland Hospice.

The son of Melbourne & Elizabeth (Arendsen) Dykman, he was born on November 2, 1953 in Grand Rapids and worked as a cabinet maker.

Survivors include two children, Andrew B. Dykman, and Melina J. Youngblood, as well as his ex-wife and caregiver Marylou Richards.

Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral care, Grand Rapids.
