Pamela Sue Karst

Pamela Sue Karst left this life on February 4, 2012. She passed away at home, surrounded by her family and the lake, trees, birds and creatures that she loved.

Pam was born to Max and Frances (Claybaugh) Brown in Warsaw, Indiana on July 9, 1954.

After the death of her parents, Pam lived with Bob and Barb Herendeen in Huntington, Indiana.

Pam graduated from Huntington North High School in 1973.

Pam married Bob Williams (deceased) and together they had a child, Keri Williams of Montague, Michigan

Pam later met and married Kevin Karst of Huntington, Indiana. They had two children, Katherine Elise (deceased) and Michael of Akron, Ohio.

Pam spent the last ten years of her life living in Montague, Michigan in the wooded cottage near Lake Michigan she built with her loving partner Stephen Niezgoda.

Pam is survived by her partner, Stephen, her children Keri and Michael, her grandson Elijah, her sister Jan (Ray) Hueghes, her brother Tim (Carmen) Brown, nephews Steve Bumbaugh, Jim Womble, Scott Brown, and niece Kylee Brown.

Memorial services will be held at the Central Christian Church (500 MacGahan St., Huntington, Indiana) on Saturday, February 11. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and Service commencing at 4:00 p.m.

A Life Celebration will be held at Pam and Stephen’s home (6260 Lau Rd., Montague, Michigan) on Memorial Day weekend.
