Orville L. Planck, age 79, of Cutlerville, went to his Heavenly home on Friday afternoon, February 3, 2012 under the loving of his family and Faith Hospice.

The son of Orville & Elvira (Hansen) Planck, he was born on July 10, 1932 in Cadillac and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, David Planck; and an infant grandson, William Planck.

Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Lois Planck; children, Brian (Kim) Planck of Kentwood, Kim Robinson of Wyoming; a daughter-in-law, Angie Planck of Wyoming; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11th at Woodview Christian Church, 3785 Woodview Ave. S.W., Wyoming, with Pastor Jon B. Stradtner officiating. Honoring Orville’s wishes, burial took place privately on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Floral View Memorial Gardens in Grandville.

The family would like to thank Faith Hospice for all the kind and compassionate care given to Orville. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association.
