I will miss her smile and gentle manner, I will treasure the picture I took of her and Joan and Priscilla at the reunion last year and also the picture of her and Jim. She was a beautiful woman inside and out, and one that I am proud to have been related to. May she rest in Gods loving hands.

We have had the blessing of knowing Ora for the past two years and can’t recall a moment when she was not an encourager. Even when her health began to weaken, her spirit did not; she never complained, only smiled and shared her eternal love for Jesus Christ. We are sad that she will no longer be with us here, but we know she is in heaven and we aim to see her again some day. Our prayers are with the family and Jim, we love you, too, God Bless.

I met Ora in 7th grade. She had such a beautiful personality. I can remember her teaching me a new dance while at my house in Owosso. Of course we were getting ready for a big dance. I will always remember her. Sympathy to family & close friends She will be missed by all who knew her even from those that knew her a long time ago

    Wayne (and Amy),
I was praying for you on the way to GCC this morning. I tried to imagine what it would be like to “continue on” in work and in life, etc. without Mom. I couldn’t go down that road very far, b/c of how dear Mom is to me, as I know Mom was to you! The consolation I took was Paul’s reminder from 1 Thess 4: “we do not grieve like those who have no hope…” I’m praising God for Mom’s home-going; I’m asking God for the kind of strength for you and your family that will help you more than “survive” but to continue to “thrive”. We love you and Amy and are lifting you up.

I only have good memories of Ora, she was my mother Linda Durance’s best friend for many years, although my mother has passed, I still always thought in the back of my mind I still had a mother. I spent a lot of time with Ora and Jim as a child, they always treated me like family. My family’s condolences go out to all of you, and we will pray.
