Michael Edward "Mick" Drumm, age 53, of Vestaburg, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 in Vestaburg after suffering a seizure in his sleep. The son of Edward & Lana Joyce (Hoover) Drumm, he was born on March 26, 1964 in Alma.
Mick was self-employed as a beekeeper, and currently served on the Vestaburg Community Schools Board of Education, in addition to coaching volleyball at Vestaburg. After a 11 year courtship, he married Kristy Marie Kloeckner and together they enjoyed almost 17 years of marriage.
Surviving are his wife, Kristy Drumm; a son, Tyler Drumm; a daughter, Michaela Drumm, all of Vestaburg; his mother, Lana Houghton of Six Lakes; his father and step-mother, Ed & Dee Drumm of Lake Isabella; a sister, LaShelle & Geoff Greene of Grand Rapids; a brother, Steve & Dawn Drumm of Vestaburg; his best friends, Randy & Tammy Barnum of Berrien Center; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

It’s been a little over a week. Just so you know I posted that picture on Facebook. The one you made me promise not to post. Come back and make me take it down. Haha. I used to say I can’t wait for Jesus to come back so I can see Grandma, then it was Grandma and Grandpa. Now it will be Grandma, Grandpa and you. I hope this list doesn’t get any bigger.
