KENTWOOD, Mich. — Marylee Bruggner, 81, of Kentwood, formerly of Elkhart and Union, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016.  

She was born in Elkhart on June 9, 1935 and graduated from Elkhart High School.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas Sr. Beloved daughter of Charles and Blanche Taska. Loving sister of Gary (Marleen) Taska and the late Gail Taska. 

Loving mother of Dennis (Carrie), Thomas Jr. (Debra), Terrence (Beth) and Jon (Charity). Loving grandmother of Angela, Nick, Kelly, Alisha, Samantha, Tabitha(Lyle), Allison(Ken), Aaron, Kylie, Diana(Carl) and Dan. 

Loving great-grandma to 17. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews and cousins. Dearest friend of Dale (Sharon) Chaney, Tom LeClair and Pat Kellar. Loving pet mom to the late Lady and Siri. 

She wishes all memorials be made to your local Humane Society. 

Honoring her wishes, cremation has take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.

    Gram,
    God looked around his garden and found an empty space. Then he looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God,s garden must be a beautiful place. He only take the best. Gram, you will be missed so much. We love always. Love Kenny

    Dennis I went to school with you and we hung out some when we were about 12, I liked your Mom and am so very sorry for yours and you brother’s loss.
