Marjorie L. Fuhrman, age 85, of  Turk  Lake, Greenville, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 30, 2017 at Spectrum Health-United Hospital in Greenville after a brief illness.  The daughter of Vern & Hazel (Huffman) Cooper, she was born on June 22, 1931.

On September 30, 1950, in Greenville, she married LeRoy John "Jack" Fuhrman and just two months later he was drafted into the U.S. Army to serve in the Korean War.  After Jack's return home, he and Marge had three children and enjoyed over 63 years of marriage until Jack passed away on December 11, 2013. Marjorie enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, and enjoyed playing cards with her friends.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Margie Fuhrman in 1956; a daughter, Susan Warvel on April 11, 1995; and a son, LeRoy Johnson Fuhrman, Jr. on May 11, 2016.

Surviving are a son-in-law, John & Christie Warvel of Dansville; two grandchildren, Timothy & Miya Warvel of Dansville, and Jennifer & Trevor Hall of Cookeville, Tennessee; six great grandchildren, Brandy and Karley Warvel, and Danica, Devin, Reed, and Alana Hall;  a special nephew, Skeeter & Sue Davis of Greenville; and many other nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Graveside committal services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on July 6, 2017 at West Montcalm Cemetery (please note date).  Honoring Marge's wishes, cremation has taken place.  Instead of flowers Marge would have appreciated contributions in her memory to either the Alzheimer's Association or the Michigan Veterans Foundation.
