Marie E. Stencel, age 75, of Livonia, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 at Metron of Forest Hills of Grand Rapids.

The daughter of Roman & Anna (Sleiter) Stencel, she was born on January 30, 1942 in Detroit.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Nancy Tocco. Surviving are her brother, Anthony (Connie) Stencel; nieces, Cheryl (Sam) Serra, Celeste (Dave) Hoopingarner, Tina (Jim) Woods, Trisha (Shad) Propst, and Amy (Derrick) Barnes; nephews, Anthony (Paula) Tocco, Paul Tocco, Aaron Stencel, and Timothy Stencel; many great nieces & nephews; and multiple great great nephews & nieces.   

A Mass will be at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, October 6, 2017 at St. Mary Great Mother of God Catholic Church, 402 Amity St SE, Lowell with interment at St. Mary Cemetery.
