Marianne Baughman, age 84, of Greenville, formerly of Muskegon, passed away early Saturday morning, May 23, 2015 at her home under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice.  The daughter of Arthur C. & Lila (Conley) Navin, she was born on December 9, 1930 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and graduated from Muskegon High School.  On August 17, 1951, in Muskegon, she married Allan R. Baughman and together they enjoyed almost 64 years of marriage and raised four children.

Allan and Marianne eventually made their home at Little Blue Lake near Greenville.  Some of Marianne’s passions included anything red, casinos, crossword puzzles, all Detroit and college sports, and most of all, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Allan Baughman of Greenville; four children, Kathy Krentz, David, both of Muskegon, Eric “Rick” (Mary Ann) of Coldwater, and Michael (Susan) Baughman of Walker; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  A private celebration of Marianne's life will take place at a later date.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has already taken place.  Instead of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation in her memory to Spectrum Health Hospice and Palliative Care (https://give.spectrumhealth.org/donate).  To send a message of sympathy to the family, sign Marianne's online guest book, or to share a favorite memory, please visit: www.ChristiansenCares.com  Arrangements were entrusted to Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, Greenville.

Jim… I surely appreciate your comforting thoughts. Yes it is really “tough”…but fortunately have a caring daughter and three sons as well as neighbors and friends helping and looking out for me.
