Marc G. Williams, age 67, was born in Northwestern Detroit to J.D. & Corrine Rita (Dorie) Williams on November 4, 1952. He passed away peacefully at home in Big Rapids on Friday, November 15, 2019. Marc's children were the pride and joy of his life. The legacy of Marc's kind spirit, passion for cooking, love of reading, and zest for life will live on through them.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Corrine Williams; his father, J.D. Williams; and his brother, Paul Dorie.
Marc is survived by his three children, Vanessa & Nick Miltenberger, Marc Williams, and Samantha Williams; his sister, Judith & Robert Pelto; two grandchildren; and his partner Cindy Walker.

Marc G. Williams (Big Marc) was the father of one of my best friends, his son, Marc Williams (Little Marc).
Marc was a great guy. He used to drive me to high school every day along with his son, and even though they didn’t always have a lot to share, even when times were tight, I always had a spot at his table. He was more than my friends dad, he was also a friend, and am saddened at his passing, and I know he was loved. My deepest sympathies go out to his family.-á
