Louise Finkbeiner, age 85, of Greenville, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Spectrum Health-United Hospital with her son at her side.  The daughter of Kenneth C. & Thelma L. (Frisbie) Foster, she was born on March 15, 1931 in Stanton and retired from the former Gibson Refrigerator Company.  In recent years she made her home at Pine Knoll Apartments and later at Friendship House, where she enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbors in addition to taking regular walks around Greenville.   

She was preceded in death by her parents;  and three brothers, William Foster, Paul Foster, and Howard "Jacques" Foster.

Surviving are a two sons, Michael C. Burns of Greenville, and Robert Burns of Washington;  a daughter, Heather Mason of Traverse City;  three grandchildren, William Burns of Gowen, Melinda Burns of Hastings, and Jessica Burns of Carson City;  two great-grandchildren;  a sister, Mertice M. Ehlert of Greenville;  a brother, Gerald & Irma Foster of Indiana;  a life-long friend, Betty Brown of Six Lakes;  and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Louise's life beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, 2016 in the Community Center Room at Friendship House – East Building, 320 E. Oak Street, Greenville.  Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will take place at Ferris Center Cemetery near Vestaburg.
