Louise Faye (Chapman) Holmes, age 81 of rural Stanton, passed away October 22, 2015 at home under the loving care of her family and Heartland Hospice.  The daughter of Lonnie H. & Norma (Ensar) Chapman, she was born on March 22, 1934 in Majestic, Kentucky. 

Louise delighted in sight-seeing and traveling the countryside to enjoy the scenery, had a passion for animals as a member of the ASPCA and enjoyed all shopping, but her greatest pleasure came from visiting with  her grand children and family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; and four brothers.  Surviving are her daughters, Vanessa Robinson & Roy Wabegijik of Stanton and Bella & Mitch Russell of Scottsdale, PA; five grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. 

The family will receive relatives and friends at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31st at the Lester J. Sitts VFW Post 5065 in Sheridan (209 W. Washington St, Sheridan).
