Lorraine Violet Packard, age 78, of Greenville, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday morning, April 11, 2017 from her home under the loving care of her family and Heartland Hospice. The daughter of Charles Loren & Lillian Belle (Smith) King, she was born on July 13, 1938 in Greenville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Keith A. Packard, Sr. in 1979; and a son, Keith A. Packard, Jr. in 2009.
Surviving are her children, Kevin & Brenda Packard, and Angela & Dale Vincent, all of Greenville; her grandchildren, Andrew & Tasha Welch, Kevin Packard, Jr.., Cassie Welch, Cassandra Crooke, Jesse & Mercedes Packard, and Makayla Vincent; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Florence Martin and Loretta Merritt (Lorraine's twin); and many, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
A celebration of life service for Lorraine will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Good Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Family Life Center Church of God, 8683 Storey Road (M-91), Belding, with the Rev. William Overton officiating. A luncheon will follow the ceremony and burial will take place at a later date at Otisco Township Cemetery.

So sorry for the loss of Lorraine glad I got to meet her and I enjoyed the pictures of her when she was helping the family with the Holiday baking that will be something that will be in my mind as she looked like she really enjoyed it, and this past fall when she song with Loretta in Greenville. Even thou a loss to many, she now has no more pain but she sure will be missed by so many people and loved one’s.
Kevin, Angie and family, sorry to hear about your mom. She was such a wonderful person and I know she will be greatly missed. My love and prayers to you all.
