Loretta May Main, age 70, of Rockford, went to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 24, 2016 while at her home with family by her side.  She was the daughter of Cecil James & Cecele (Graves) Jones and born on August 5, 1946 in Rockford, Michigan.  On July 28, 1967 in Stanton, she married Charles Main and together they enjoyed 49 years of marriage and raised two children.

Loretta enjoyed reading, sewing, crafts, cooking, baking, and most of all spending time with her four grandchildren.  Her faith in God and prayer life was a great testimony and encouragement to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Cella (Thebo) Olsen.  She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Charles Main of Rockford;  by her daughters, Darci & William Coulter and DeAnn & Andrew Frikken; four grandchildren, Cody, Brooke, Ben and Ethan; her siblings, Carolyn Hurt, Ivan Vail, CJ Jones and Carl Jones; and many nieces and nephews.  She will be remembered by family and friends as a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service gathering beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at West Cannon Baptist Church, 5760 Cannonsburg Road N.E., Belmont, with a luncheon immediately following.

Cousin Loretta, was always there for us as a family. Always willing to get the family together for reunions. The most wonderful memory was when she and Chuck showed up for my only daughterGÇÖs wedding bringing along my sister Henrietta, sister in-law Mary, and cousin Cella for the long drive from Michigan to Virginia. A wonderful surprise & blessing for us all. She had a very big heart, and a laugh that will forever echo in my mind.

I am so sorry for your loss! I will miss her too. We always talked about the grand kids and our growing up days in Montcalm County. She was a sweet friend. May God be your comfort and Rock! Psalms 62:5-8.
