Laura E. Strube, age 91, of Howard City, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital surrounded by family.

The daughter of George & Hildur (Wickland) Hall, she was born on May 4, 1925 in Muskegon.

Surviving are her children, Charles (Dianne) Strube, Eleanor (Clayton) Smith, Donald (Susan) Strube, James (Carol) Strube, Edward (Brenda) Strube, and Shirley (Dennis) Medema; and loving friend, Walter Jachim.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Fremont Wesleyan Church, 918 Garden Ave., Fremont, with visitation one hour prior to the service.  

In lieu of flowers family has asked any contributions be made out to Alzheimer’s Association, envelopes will be available at the service.  

Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
