Larry Quillan Jones, age 81, of Cedar Springs, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.  The son of John Quillan & Hazel Marie (Johnson) Jones, he was born on November 9, 1936 in Grand Rapids.  On July 24, 1974, in Grand Rapids, Larry married the former Thelma Jean Baldwin-Platz and together they enjoyed over 43 years of marriage.  Larry had worked as an industrial and commercial electrician.

Surviving are his wife, Thelma Jones of Cedar Springs;  his children, Larry T.  & Sally Jones of Sand Lake, Denise Berg of Belmont, and Angela Dutton of Sparta;  two step-sons, Scott Platz of Cadillac and Dennis Platz of Sand Lake;  a sister-in-law, Shirley Patterson of Cedar Springs;  a special nephew, Tom Baldwin, and his wife Kelly;  eighteen grandchildren;  and seven great grandchildren.
