Kirk D. Davis, 53, of Stanton passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI.

Kirk was born in Midland, MI on May 7, 1965, to Donald and Kathryn (Katzinger) Davis. He graduated from Midland High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne.

Kirk was preceded in death by his parents and special friends, Steven and Daniel French.

He is survived by his son, Adam Davis; daughter, Rachel Davis; and grandson Jackson Booth, all of Stanton; his sister, Beth (Larry) Woodcock of Midland; nephews, Chad and Tyler Kolan; aunt and uncle, Francis and Maryjane Rohwetter; special friend, Sandra French; and Kirk’s “best bud”, Champ, his faithful canine companion of 15 years.

Kirk enjoyed working on cars and hunting but even more loved to sit and talk to his friends and family. Kirk was friendly and kind to anyone he met and always willing to help someone in need.

A celebration of life will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 305 S Clay St., Greenville, Michigan, on November 17, 2018, from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. Please come and go as you are able to tell your stories.
