Kenneth Edward Harkless, age 66, of Sturgis, passed away May 2, 2019 at Fairview Nursing Home in Centreville.  Born on August 11, 1952, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Kenneth attained the rank of Lance Corporal, earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the M-16 Marksmanship Badge. 

Committal services, with full military honors, are at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Road, Augusta.
