John & I worked together for a number of years at RX Optical and from the first day I met John I knew I was in for a treat! I may not have known it back then (I was 21) but he taught me about marriage & family and the and love that could be had between two people. John loved Holly with everything he had, and his family came first. I never had the privilege to meet his children but he spoke so fondly of all of them. That is the first thing I think of when I think of John. The second… LAUGHTER!! I laughed everyday we worked together. The stories I could tell (LOL) and the lessens I learned will be cherished forever. You are so missed John but you will be remembered forever. It’s time for you to be taken care of now. Sincere condolences to all of John’s family. Sincerely, Heather Mayfield
