Jerry B. Taylor, 84, went to Heaven Wednesday morning, May 22nd, 2019 at home with his family at his side.

 

The son of  George & Velma Taylor, he was born March 17, 1935 in Jackson.

 

Jerry had a passion for western movies and supporting his favorite Detroit Tigers. After many years of supporting his family by farming, in 1975 Jerry went back to school to graduate from Olivet Adult Education, one of his proudest accomplishments.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters; and two brothers, and his beloved wife of 40 years, Mary Flowers Taylor. Jerry is survived by his children; Logan Taylor of Florida, and Crystal & Steven Collins of Bellevue; grandchildren, Tiva Tillis, Travis Taylor, Anthony Taylor, Tiffany Wheeler, April Dunn, Ashley Gardner, Amber Briggs, and Kristopher Kring; and 15 great-grandchildren.

 

The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice for the wonderful care shown to Jerry and to their family during this challenging time.
