Jerry Emery, aged 78 of Hudsonville, passed away at home on Sunday, November 18, 2012. He was born on March 21, 1934. Jerry is survived by his wife of 28 years Patricia (Cleland) Emery, his children Lori & Mark Wells, Dan Emery, Lisa & Bob Hetrick, Stacy & Brian Burton, by his stepchildren Mike & Heather Brent and Debra Brent, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Rich & Linda Tjalsma. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, his stepfather, his son Kirk Emery and his brother James Emery. Most of his life Jerry dealt with Crohn’s. He was one of the founding members of the CCFA Chapter in Grand Rapids. His hobbies were fishing, golfing, bowling and traveling. Private funeral arrangements are being made at Rosedale Cemetary. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to CCFA of America Michigan Chapter or Spectrum Health Hospice.
