Janice Fay (DeVries) Zink, age 72, of Wyoming passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015. She was born on August 12, 1942 in Grand Rapids to her parents, William & Jennie (Van Oeveren) DeVries. She grew up in Wyoming with her eight brothers & sisters. Around the age of 22, she went to Texas, and then later to California where she lived for 40 years. On June 6, 1988 she married Joe Zink. The couple were married until Joe died of throat cancer in October of 2002. Janice then wanted to come back to Michigan to live for a few years.

Janice had a chance to visit good friends, Gene & Nahie in California for a week, and then go to Las Vegas to see Joe Joe & Joanne Zink. After Las Vegas, she went to Florida to see her brother, Bob DeVries. It was then that she found out that she had Stage IV Lung Cancer. Even while she was sick, she found the time to call all of her family and friends. Janice then came back to Michigan to be surrounded by her loving family, and to be at rest.
She is survived by her son, Brain DeVrou and his wife Gloria; brother, Robert DeVries; grandson, Brian DeVrou Jr. ; Step grandson, Frank Harriston; and a Great grandson, Zander DeVrou.

Janice lived a full life, and had no regrets. She loved all of her family and friends.
