James William Peterson, Jr., age 74, of Kalamazoo, passed away July 7, 2016 at his home.  A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he served during the Vietnam War era and was earned the Rifle Sharpshooter badge.

Committal services, with military honors, are at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Road, Augusta, Michigan 49012.
