James Jay Bodick, Jr., age 48, of North Muskegon, formerly of the metro Detroit area and St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at home.
The son of James Jay & Kay Diane (Calkins) Bodick, he was born on January 23, 1963 in Detroit.
He was a commercial sword and tuna fisherman for over 20 years.
Surviving are his mother, Kay; three children, Chelsea, Steely, and KayAnna Bodick; and siblings, Marlea and Mark.
Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Michigan Cremation Company, Grand Rapids.
