James A. Micklatcher, age 49, of Jenison, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at home surrounded by family. The son of Patricia Joe McNinch, he was born on August 21, 1967 in Grand Rapids.
Jimi was a one of a kind genuine man that loved to sit by a bonfire with all of his friends and family. He loved to fish for bubba bass, sing along to Kid Rock music, and go to the Casino whenever he could. He adored all the kids that came into his life, and he made sure that he got his hugs from each and everyone. His heart was with his son Nathan, whom he couldn’t be more proud of, and the love of his life Christi, his wife. Jimi made everyone smile and laugh even in the worst of times. He was a great dad, husband, friend, and awesome human being. “BORN FREE AND BLUE JEANS & A ROSARY!”
A celebration of his life will take place, with an Open House on Saturday December 10th, anytime from 12:00pm – 4:00pm

Honoring his wishes cremation will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
