Heather Lyn Bird, age 43, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017 in Green ValleyArizona, under the care of hospice. 

 

Born and raised in Grand Rapids, she made her home in OlympiaWashington for 15 years before returning to Michigan

 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lynda Redman-Blackburn; and a nephew, Chris Perrin.  Heather is survived by her parents, Robert & Yvonne Bird and Craig Blackburn; two sisters, Jennifer Kincaid and Darcy Schroeder;  and three brothers, Stephen Bird, Ryan Bird and Nate Blackburn.

    I’m so glad that I got to know her this past summer! She was a lot of fun and I will miss her and Clive hanging out with us on the deck. The grand kids just adored her also! She will be missed!

    Our deepest condolences to all of Heather’s family and loved ones. She was my first, truest, best friend beginning in grade school. I am so sorry we lost touch. I will always remember her as a very special spirit and BFF. She was one of a kind! May God Bless her & you all!
