Sad to think no one has shared memories of you. The Dad I remember loved opening day of gun season more than any other day of the year. Your “spot” was your sanctuary for all that was bad in life. You loved watching westerns and was a huge John Wayne fan, owning almost every movie he starred in. You loved to eat Porterhouse steaks that came off your grill, long john donuts and bread pudding. You were a fan of coke until their undoing with the new recipe and you changed to pepsi, never going back to coke. You retired from Wolverine World Wide after giving them 36 years as a trimmer, supervisor and head of maintenance, you loved your job. You looked forward to August of every year so you could host your annual pig roast at your “Lazy P” ranch, you enjoyed seeing others having fun. Most thought you were a JR. and your dad a SR. but in reality you were never given a suffix at birth, you were both Harry E. Palmer, nothing more, nothing less. You are followed by your daughters, Amy and myself, 4 grandchildren, Nicole, Lacie, Nate and Mya and 12 great grandchildren, Kierstan, Maygen, Jayce, Kenna, Zoen, Bentley, Stone, Rhylan, Sarrisa, Addisyn, Taetym and Korben who passed away in 2010. Stepchildren, Jerry Workman Jr and Sherri, Scott and Randy.
