Harold Eugene Clemenshaw, age 93, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at home surrounded by family. The son of Walter E. & Letta (Wood) Clemenshaw, he was born on January 15, 1925 in Grandville. 

He was a highly decorated combat veteran proudly serving in the U.S. Army during WWII. He earned a European–African–Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with 5 bronze stars, 1 bronze arrowhead, and a purple heart. 

Harold joins his wife, Mildred Clemenshaw; son, Harold Clemenshaw Jr.; and his grandson, Patrick Clemenshaw. He is survived by his daughter, Ranae Clemenshaw & (Rick Tanis); grandchildren, Tighe & (Augie Hoodhood), Sheena & (Alex Hamm), Brian & Johnothan Clemenshaw, Karen & (Kevin Gauthier), and Kelly Van Zyl; as well as 14 great-grandchildren.

A committal service with full military honors will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Rd., Augusta.
