Gordon Frederick Prouty, age 82, of Galesburg, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

The son of Glenn & Bertha (Wilkinson) Prouty, he was born on July 2, 1930 in Kalamazoo.

Committal services, with full military honors, are at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, honored providers of Veterans Funeral Care.
