Glenn Michael "Mike" Wills, age 64, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at his home under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice.  The son of Glenn Richard & Maxine Caroll (Hart) Wills, Mike was born on April 7, 1951 in Lansing.  Following his graduation from high school, Mike proudly served in the U.S. Army,  where he attained the rank of Sergeant, and was a decorated veteran of the Vietnam war. 

For many years he worked at the former Gibson Refrigerator Company where he was a line supervisor, however, he was proudest of his more recent work with GLC Hope Ministries where he served in a number of capacities.

Surviving are a son, Chris Wills of California;  four step-children, Ranae & Gary Stoneham of Greenville, Rance Sorsen of Sheridan, Jamie & Carol Sorsen of Greenville, and Tony & Lora Sorsen of Stanton;  eleven step-grandchildren;  four step-great grandchildren;  a sister and two brothers;  several nieces and nephews; and many dear special friends.

Graveside committal services are at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2015 at Riverside Cemetery in Langston.  The Rev. Paul E. Dickson, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Greenville, will officiate and military honors, rendered jointly by the U.S. Army and the Ray I. Booth American Legion Post 101 Honor Guard, will conclude the ceremonies.

    To the family of Mike, I worked for Mike on the line in Greenville, one of the best foremens I ever had. He made our move from Belding to Greenville smooth. He was just a great guy, great boss. I AM sure he will be missed by many. With deep sympathy and prays at this sad time. I am sorry I will not be able to attend. prayers are with the family. So sorry for your loss Glenda Wing

    I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Mike for a while and he was always sweet and helpful. I don’t think I ever saw him without a smile and I always loved to chat with him when given the chance meeting at Meijer. I will very much miss him!
