I remember 20 years ago my aunt Geri was praying hard that I had my first born (Carrie) on her birthday. As soon as she found out I indeed delivered on Aug. 24th she ran out and bought the cutest outfit and came to see me. She was thrilled as I was too. Aunt Geri was big on the family history/family tree. If you needed to know where each person was on down the line she was the one to go to. She was ALWAYS looking her best and beautiful she was. She took great care of her health. She once told me that she wasn’t going to die young or from a heart attach, as there is a long line of both in our family. She indeed was correct. She has met back up with her youngest sister in heaven along with many others she loved dearly here on earth as she watched one by one pass from earth to heaven. When ever I think of her I will always see her smile. Hugs and kisses to each of my cousins, and uncle. ❤️

Gerri was a Great Lady and was loved by Many. I remember going to her house a few times with Kevin and Michelle. She will be missed, but I know one of these days we all will see her again with our Heavenly Father and the rest of our love ones that have gone on before us.
My thoughts and prayers for the family and friends. May they all be filled with our Heavenly Father’s Love, Peace, Comfort and Strength during this time and always. Love the Mattingly Family.
