Gerald "Jerry" Riojas, age 65, of Lakeview, went to a better place on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family and under the care of Spectrum Health Hospice. The son of Jesse Ruiz & Eleanor (Lavery) Riojas, he was born on January 28, 1951 in Lakeview.
He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, and a niece. he will sadly missed by his wife of 33 years, Renee Riojas of Lakeview; his children, Gerald Jr. of Virginia, Marcia of Grand Rapids, Anna of Belding, Sonja of Florida, Jesse of Gowen, Lucas of Lakeview; and his mother, Eleanor Riojas.
Visitation with the family is from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Lakeview United Church of Christ, 115 5th Street at Lincoln Street, Lakeview, where memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. A life celebration luncheon will follow the ceremony.
