Gerald D. Corl, Sr., age 75, passed away on Tuesday August 9, 2016 at his daughter’s home under the loving care of his family and Gentiva Hospice.  The son of Richard & Lena Corl, he was born on February 26, 1941 in Stanton and was a graduate of Carson City High School.    

He was preceded in death by his parents.  Surviving are his children, Tammy Corl, Debbra Richmond, Julie Glentz, Sally Dare, Gerald Corl Jr., Thomas & Ramona Corl, and Betty Hartman;  his siblings, Doris Hustin, Emmajean & Ron Corder, Richard & Margaret Corl, and Cecil Corl;  sixteen grandchildren; twenty-seven  great-grandchildren;  and a host of nieces and nephews.
