Franklin Monroe "Frank" Scott, age 70, of Belding, formerly of Fenwick, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Metron of Belding.  The son of Helen (Misner) & Harry John Scott, Sr., he was born on November 15, 1947 on Greenville and was a graduate of Greenville High School.  Frank had worked at Brown Corporation in Ionia.

On November 4, 1967, at Nevins Lake Church, he married Judith Anna Ostrander and together they enjoyed almost 51 years of marriage.  Frank enjoyed gardening and model car making.

He was preceded in death by his parents;  and two brothers, Harvey Scott, Jr. and David Scott.  Surviving are his wife, Judy Scott of Belding;  a brother, Larry & Mary Scott of Stanton;  a sister-in-law, Elizabeth & Neal Empie of Sand Lake;  several nieces and nephews;  and many special friends.

Graveside committal services are at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Riverside Cemetery, Langston, with the Rev.     I was truly sad to learn of Frank’s passing. I always enjoyed talking about our love of toy car and model car collecting. I wish I had stayed in touch better over the years but I know you are in a much better place now. Rest easy my friend!
