Frances May Veeder, age 90, of Grand Rapids, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Crystal Springs Assisted Living in Grand Rapids.

The daughter of Herman & Maud Haskell, she was born on March 11, 1922 in Los Angeles, California and worked as a writer for 40 years.

Survivors include her daughter, Jane K. Veeder of San Mateo, California; and son, Carey Veeder of Grand Rapids.

Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Michigan Cremation Company, Grand Rapids.
