Falice A. "Faye" Bradley, age 84, of Lincoln Lake, Gowen, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 at her home under the loving care of her family and Heartland Hospice. The daughter of the Rev. Harold O. & Falice (Butler) Tefft she was born on May 30, 1934.
On June 20, 1952, at the Greenville Free Methodist Church, she was united in marriage to Donald J. Bradley by her father, the Rev. H.O. Tefft. Together, she and Don raised two children and were long-time members of Calvary Baptist Church where Faye volunteered with the AWANA group for many years.
Faye also worked outside the home at the former Electrolux Home Products, retiring after 30 years of service. In retirement, she and Don enjoyed wintering in Florida near Lakeland and for over 15 years she was a volunteer at Alpha Family Center in Greenville. Blessed with a green thumb, Faye loved tending to her gardens and flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of nearly 58 years, Donald J. Bradley on May 22, 2010; eight brothers and sisters; and two grandsons, Richard J. Marckini III and Brent Snyder.
Surviving are her children, Doug & Vicki Bradley of Greenville, and Gloria Bradley-Coon of Gowen; five grandchildren, Angela & Matt Sansoterra, Daniel & Amy Bradley, Jami & Tom Norton, Kevin & Sarah Coon, and Eric Snyder; twenty great-grandchildren — with the 21st on the way; a brother-in-law, Harold Bradley of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church, 12501 Montcalm Avenue N.E., Greenville, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The Rev. R. Mark Shaw will officiate and burial will take place privately at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.
While Faye appreciated flowers, she would have preferred a more lasting tribute in the form of memorial contributions to either Alpha Family Center of Greenville or the ALS Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the church.
