Everett Fife, 67, of Ionia, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 at home. The son of Everett Murphy & Mary (Farkas) Fife, he was born on March 19, 1950 in Pontiac.
A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Everett served during the Vietnam Conflict and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place.

It is a sad day to be reading your obituary, Sonny. I remember all the good things you did for my family, and especially the way you always treated me with respect. I’ll never forget the day you said I looked beautiful and I knew it was a heartfelt statement, because you never said those things in jest or just to say them. You raised two very precious boys, who are a blessing to me. I’ll always be there for them and the great-grandbabies, as long as I can. I hope to see you again someday.
Well the most I remember about Ev is when we hung out on baldi St in the garage working on the old black car he had a funnel sticking out of the wall for a urinal I thought that was such a brilliant idea and never used it myself maybe because he owned that idea lol I love you Everitt Fife may God be with you brother
