Elvin Raymond Weber, age 86, of Hudsonville, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Brookcrest surrounded by family. 

The son of John & Helen (Alflen) Weber he was born on May 20, 1931 in Grand Rapids. Elvin was a Korean War Combat Veteran who proudly served with the U.S. Army for 3 years. He fought his way through Korea including Heartbreak Ridge and Pork Chop Hill, and was attached to the 15th Artillery Battalion. Elvin earned a Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Rosemary L. Weber; children, Allen (Shelly) Weber, Susan Klammer, and Debbie (Juanita) Weber-Joseph, as well as many others who called him Papa; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, John Weber, and Marian. 

A memorial service with full military honors will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Ave. S.E., Wyoming, where a visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
